How to make rounded images in Dentli TV

Prepare Your Image

If your image isn’t already square, use the media editor’s crop tool to adjust it. A square image is essential because rounding the corners of a non-square image won’t produce a perfect circle.

Add Your Image to a Layout

  1. Log in to your Dentli TV dashboard.
  2. Open the layout where you want your round image to appear.
  3. add an Image widget to your layout.
  4. Choose and insert your image.

Open the Media Editor

  1. Once your image is added, click on it (or use the “Edit” option) to open Dentli TV’s media editor.

Crop (if needed)

  1. If you haven’t already made your image square, select the crop tool.
  2. Adjust the crop boundaries until you have a square composition.
  3. Confirm the crop.

Round the Corners

  1. Look for the "Round" tool in the editor.
  2. Drag the slider (or enter a value) to increase the corner radius. Maximum radius is 350px - if your picture is too big, you need to resize it first.
  3. For a square image, setting the radius to 50% (or half the width/height) will give you a perfect circle.
  4. Preview your changes to ensure the image appears round.

Save and Publish

  1. Save your edited image.
  2. Exit the media editor.
  3. Publish (or schedule) your layout so that the changes take effect on your display.
